Tatro Construction is providing Construction Management Services to Jacobs Engineering on the oversite of two Federal Bureau of Prison projects which began construction in the fall of 2008. This $1.3 Million Dollar contract is for CM oversite of the new FBOP facility in Berlin, New Hampshire and Aliceville, Alabama. Construction of both Prison facilities is expected to be complete in the fall of 2010.

The renovation of the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne, FL.will begin in July 2008.Projects scope is the renovation of all 489 Guestrooms, Condo Suites and corridors. The interior renovation is a fast track project consisting of interior paint, new FF&E, bedroom carpet, wall coverings, new furniture, new Kitchen cabinets and granite, FF&E moving and storage, new window coverings and corridor carpet. The Ritz Carlton is scheduled to be complete by mid December 2008.

Work began at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in early January 2008 with the construction of a new Resort Swimming Pool and Slide.Construction of the Del Morro Fort shown above will house the new interactive slide and water feature.The project will also include the demolition and construction of a new resort size swimming pool, a children’s pool and will be flanked by two new spas.New stamped concrete, landscaping and themed plaster will be the finishing touches to this great family resort. The Project is scheduled for completion by September 2008.

Disney's Swan Hotel Guestroom Renovation - 747 Guestrooms
The Walt Disney World Swan Hotel features 747 deluxe guestrooms. The renovation is a fast track project consisting of new drywall, texture, pain, carpet, polished counter tops, reupholstering furniture, FF&E moving & storage, new window coverings and TV's. Additionally the scope is to remove and replace 165 old fan coil units and riser piping on several levels of the hotel. Schedule consists of renovating approximately 65 rooms every two weeks while keeping the hotel open and completely functional. All guestrooms are scheduled to be completed by December 2007.
Work began at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge in early August 2008 with the interior construction of 1058 guestrooms and corridors. The interior renovation is a fast track project consisting of interior paint and upholstery modifications, modify armoire to accept new LCD flat panel TV’s, bedroom carpet, balcony paintings, new furniture, FF&E moving and storage, and new window coverings. Schedule consists of taking down and renovating approximately 50 rooms every week, keeping the remaining rooms and resort open and completely functional. Completion of the guestrooms is scheduled to be completed by August 2009.

The Renovation of the Orlando Repertory Theatre began in June 2006. The scope of work includes the demolition of the existing aluminum theatre seating and railings. A new structural foam theatre riser system will be installed with an integral colored concrete topping. The end result will house 348 premium seats with little to no site line issues for viewing. Additionally, the entire roofing and flashings are being replaced with new modified bitumen roofing system and new metal flashings. Completion of the theatre is scheduled for October 2006 with the re-roofing project completing the end of November 2006.

Universal's Hard Rock Hotel Guestroom Suite & Corridor Renovation - Universal Orlando
Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida features 650 deluxe guestrooms and suites. The renovation is a fast track project consisting of new paint, carpet, granite countertops, reupholstered furniture, FF&E moving and storage, new window coverings, bathroom fixtures and plasma TV’s. Schedule consists of taking down and renovating approximately 70 rooms a week keeping the remaining use of the hotel open and completely functional. All guestrooms and corridors were completed by November 2006. Total Schedule duration is 10 weeks.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort features 409 cabin homes. The interior renovation is a fast track project consisting of interior wood refinishing and modifications, bedroom carpet, polished counter tops, reupholstering furniture, FF&E moving and storage and new window coverings. Schedule consists of renovation 50-70 cabins every two weeks. All cabin homes are scheduled to be completed by January 2008.
Pre-Construction Services began in early March 2006 and and continued through October 2006. Pre-Construction services include project CPM scheduling, cost and budget reviews, purchasing and bid packaging , value engineeringarchitectural review and design coordination with the buildings and rides. The Hard Rock Park grand opening was summer 2008.
Tatro Construction performs the overall Construction Management for each project with oversight of the onsite construction activities with the General Contractor; additionally Tatro provides as a liaison between the GEO Group and the State of Florida.Schedule reviews, change order reviews, budget analysis, and State Compliance are among a few of the duties performed for The GEO Group, Inc.
